






While I waited for the moon to rise over the distant hills, I trained my lens on a light on a nearby building to start adjusting the settings, since the camera’s light meter is useless for photographing bright objects at night. This was the last of those shots – still a good bit too bright for the moon, though dark enough to retain detail on the brightest bricks.
