A stalk of mullein towers over the other flowers at Frenchy’s Field. I noticed this park as we drove by on our first day in Santa Fe; by the time we visited the next morning, many of the flowers were done, though there was still a lot of color, and by that evening almost all the petals had fallen and the color was mostly dull with patches of vibrance here and there.
